After that, a JA staff member will contact yoyu to discuss the program and deliver the materials. The curriculum consists of 4 lessons, each about 45 minutes long, that involve hands-on activities that give the students an understanding of what it means to be an entrepreneur and to come up with their own Crazy Ideas.
After your students have completed the curriculum and the activities, they are invited to submit their Crazy Ideas to be considered for the Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge! Students can do so by completing the online submission form here. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM on November 29, 2019.
All semi-finalists must attend JA Idea Accelerator Workshops (Wednesday evenings at JA’s facility, with dinner included) during January and February, where they will be mentored by local entrepreneurs, professionals, and business owners and refine and develop their business plans and pitches, culminating in The Big Pitch, where student teams will compete against one another for scholarship dollars and a place at the State Finals.
