JA Catalyst program launches at local high schools. Schools can register to participate HERE to receive classroom materials for the Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge.
TBAJA Catalyst Saturday Workshop (open to the public)1-day workshop is designed to allow students (grades 9-12) who are not enrolled through their schools to participate in JA Catalyst and apply to the Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge program.
November 30Deadline for students to submit their Crazy Idea.Students can submit their Crazy Idea here HERE. Semi-Finalists will be notified the first week of December.
December 11TYCIC Press Conference with Drew BreesJunior Achievement and the Brees Dream Foundation will present the Semi-Finalists at a press conference open to the media and invited guests.

JA Idea Accelerator Workshop Series

Students will meet at the JA facility for the JA Idea Accelerator Workshop Series. In this setting, entrepreneurs and business leaders from the community will mentor the teams as they fine tune their business plans. These workshops will be held at JA during the evening and dinner will be provided.
February 18th – 24thViral VotingTeams are ready to market their business plans to friends and family! The commercial with the most views will be crowned the Viral Voting Champion!
March 15thThe Big Pitch

After months of training, the teams will be ready to pitch their crazy ideas to a panel of judges and invited guests at The Big Pitch located at JA’s facility.

TYCIC State Final Competition

The Challenge finalists from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and North Louisiana will pitch their business plans to a panel of judges at this New Orleans Entrepreneur Week event. The State Champion will be selected and prizes will be announced- for both students and schools!
